To Allah We belong and to Allah We Shall Return,

It is with an extremely heavy heart and sadness that I announce that our beloved student Hafiz Hasan Hasan has returned to his Creator. He is the son of the late Shaykh Mohamad Hasan. Hasan just graduated from CPSA this past June 2024 and was starting his education career at UIC with the hopes of becoming a doctor one day. He was a star basketball player and had a heart of gold and was extremely giving. He was the first to help raise money and give his time for those in need.

He passed away in a car accident in Kentucky to attend a family wedding. We will provide grief counseling services this week in sha Allah and will send more details regarding that. We will provide the community more information when it becomes available for the azzah.

May Allah (SWT) have mercy on him, illuminate his grave, and unite him with his father and loved ones in the highest of heavens. May Allah (SWT) give patience to his mother, siblings, friends, and all those that loved him. Ameen.
